Around 30% of FSB Awards Finalists are Cornish Businesses

Cornwall is the home of almost 30% of the finalists announced in this years FSB Awards 2019 (The South West Area Finals) which will be taking place on the 7th February in Somerset.

All award category winners from the South West finals will be automatically entered into the UK final held in London this May, and will be hosted by Actor and Writer, Meera Syal.

To our delight, the Leap studio has been shortlisted under the ‘Ethical – Green Business of the Year’ category.

From the studio, we are excited to be a finalist in such an important category and are proud to be recognised for being a B Corporation design agency that works to the triple bottom line, always considering people and planet whilst making profit.

The 2018 FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards UK winner for Ethical – Green Business of the Year category, Cornish brand Made for life Organics M.D. Amanda Winwood says:

“Winning an FSB Small Business Award was a highlight of 2018, we’ve had such great things happen off the back of it. Well done to all the 2019 area finalists in the South West – they’re going to enjoy this so much.”

In total there are 9 Cornish finalists – placing between them 13 category places out of 45 – and each landing a spot out of hundreds of entries in the finals, all competing for the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards 2019.
